- The Bryant, Carrier thermister start kit part number: P421-4006 is a brand new OEM kit that comes in a factory sealed Totaline parts bag.
- The P421-4006 Bryant Carrier Thermister Start Kit comes with wires, mounting bracket and instructions. The device is about 2″ long, and 1 1/2″ in diameter.
- The blue thermistor has three terminal hook ups. One on top and one on each end.
- I have seen many thermister start assist devices burn out on Bryant & Carrier air conditioners and heat pumps during the summer months.
- When I did service work I would see many of these melted and burned up.
