Description
- The Rheem Ruud 42-25101-01 Protech contactor is a genuine OEM factory part which is used on many Rheem and Ruud air conditioner and heat pump units.
- This is one of my favorite single pole contactors because it has large wire lugs for easy wire installation and the contactor is covered to protected it from dirt and insects.
- We have a list of models that this contactor is used on below. This would make an excellent replacement 30 amp single pole contactor on any air conditioner or heat pump unit.
- When the contacts close the bottom “L1″ of this contactor makes high voltage connection, or contact with the top of the contactor “T1″ and your air conditioner or heat pump comes on.
- The ”shunt” is a straight permanent connection that joins L2 ad T2 always. That is why this contactor is a single pole contactor.
- I really like this contactor because it has a cover for the contacts that keeps the dirt and insects out.
- The 42-25101-01 Rheem Ruud Air Conditioner Heat Pump Contactor Single Pole has a place for 8 wires to connect at each end of the contactor.
